2007: The Group's name is changed to Brink's Hellas

2006:  The Guarding and Patrolling Services for US Embassy Greece contract is awarded to Brink's ? Hermes

2005: Brink's ? Hermes launches Event Security Services. Major football clubs in Greece award their security services' contracts to Brink's ? Hermes

2004: Mytilini and Kalamata branches initiate operations, while Brink's fleet exceeds 100 armored vehicles


2004: Athens Olympic Games take place in Greece, where Brink's ? Hermes undertakes a significant part of the Security Services


2004: : Brink's, Incorporated acquires local owners shares of Hermes Security Group.

2003: Corfu, Ioannina and Kozani branches launch operations


2002: Heraklion and Chania, Creta branches initiate operations


2002: Larissa branch operations launched.


2001: HBS (Hold Baggage Screening) Services in AIA's contract is awarded to AirSec Services S.A., subsidiary of Hermes Security post a multi-participant international tender


2000: Athens International Airport (AIA) Access Control and Patrolling services contract is awarded to Brink's ? Hermes

Hermes AvSec SA is further established


1999: Athens subway (Metro) guarding, ticket control and patrolling services is awarded to Hermes Security


1998: Legal framework for the security industry is launched (L.2518)


1997: Thessaloniki branch operations initiated.

1996: Local ownership status amended. Operations expand with Patra branch.


1995: Hermes Security Group's base of operations is relocated to new specifically modified premises close to the city centre


1994: Brink's - Hermes S.A., a Hermes Security joint venture with Brink's Incorporated is established in order to provide cash services. Twelve brand-new armored vehicles are imported for the first time in Greece by Brink's - Hermes.


1991: Athens Concert Hall (Megaron) guarding services contract is awarded to  Hermes Security.


1989: Hermes Security launches Data Storage Services


1987: Patrolling Services provision is launched by Hermes Security with  six specifically-modified vehicles


1986: Alarm system installations and maintenance services is launched by Hermes Security

1985: European Union (EU) Offices guarding contract is awarded to Hermes Security

1984: Hermes Security S.A., the group's guarding and patrolling services entity is established. The major naval exhibition 'Posidonia' guarding services is awarded to Hermes Security


1982: Establishment of a Central Station LTD, the start up entity of Hermes Security Group
